The 39th National Lumbini Karate Championship, organised by Nepal Sitorio Karate Do Association commenced from Thursday in Rupandehi. Arun Kuwar, Chandra Khadka and Sanam Lama have advanced to the final eight in the men’s 50 kg category while Ishwori Thapa reached the quarter-final of the women’s 45 kg category after defeating Anusha Bista.
